also, there is no charge for EDU registrations.

also, we operate under an agreement with the National
Science Foundation who has asked us to limit EDU registrations
to colleges and universities.  If you have something from your
catalog that would tell us about the degrees offered, enrollment,
acredited by, etc., please fax it to my attention.
The fax number here is 703-742-9552  Please include the tracking
number in the fax so it can be cross-referenced to this email
when it arrives.

Thanks for pointing out starfleet -- will check on them.  We 
have to back-out bogus EDU registrations every once in a while.
This would probably happened in your case too.. as soon as someone
complained, we would have to go an check further, then you would
be really unhappy if you had invested some time/effort in the name.

The internet is open - and basically self-regulating in matters like these.
